Does Brual track me in the background?

No. Brual asks for location only when a feature needs it, such as attaching a place to a memory. You can enter or repair a place manually and change location permission at any time in iOS Settings.

How the journal and passport work together.

1. Save a memory. Add the beer, photo, rating, brewery, and place you want to remember.
2. Confirm the location. Choose the correct venue or enter the place manually.
3. Open the map. Browse saved memories geographically and return to any entry.
4. Review your passport. See the places and patterns that have accumulated over time.
5. Create a trip recap. Turn selected memories into a card you can keep or share.

The passport is built from the same private entries as your beer journal, so there is no duplicate logging and no separate account.
