Brual is not a check-in network. There are no followers, public leaderboards, or social pressure to rate every drink. Your core journal is stored on your device, and the app does not require an account for normal use.

Sharing is intentional. When a memory is worth passing on, you can create a polished card or trip recap and choose where it goes through the iOS share sheet. Nothing is posted automatically.

Can I move or back up my journal?

Yes. Brual can create an archive that includes memory details, saved places, coordinates, and photos. It can also export a human-readable CSV without photos. Import verifies a Brual archive before changing your journal.

1. Photograph the moment. A real photo is often a stronger memory cue than a long note.
2. Record the place. The taproom, city, and map position turn a beer into part of a trip.
3. Use ratings consistently. Your personal scale matters more than a universal score.
